Sony Cyber-Shot Reviews
Sony Cyber-Shot digital cameras are a range of Digital Still Cameras which were first brought onto the market in 1996. The cameras in this range are all characterized by the trademark Carl Zeiss lenses, their proprietary Info-Lithium battery packs and general slim and user friendly design.
The range is divided into four different series’. The ‘S Series’ are Sony’s budget line of cameras and have the basic features found in all Sony’s. The ‘H series’ are made specifically for amateur photographers and the features incorporated are geared towards photographers. The ‘W series’ are ‘all round’ cameras with the most useful and frequently used settings while the ‘T series’ carry high- end features and an exceptionally slim design.
All the Sony Cyber-Shot cameras use Memory Stick or Memory Stick PRO Duo flash memory While some of the T Series models also support Compact-Flash. The latest models in the Cyber-shot range also support SD and SDHC which is the most up to date type of camera memory.
Sony Cyber-Shot cameras come equipped with Superior Auto setting to help you take the best pictures Using the Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor. Your Sony Cyber-Shot camera will shoot a high-speed burst of shots of the same scene, then combines the frames into one single image with the best exposure, noise and detail levels.
Using face detection software such as ‘smile shutter’ your Sony Cyber-Shot automatically takes pictures when people smile as well as a newer feature, the ‘Sweep panorama’ function which stitches multiple photographs into one. Allowing you to fit everything you want into your photographs at the click of a button.
More recent additions to the Sony Cyber-Shot range also come equipped with HD (high-definition) video capabilities and 3D functions which give the subjects of your photos real 3D depth.
There is a Sony Cyber-Shot suitable for every type of camera user, whether you are a beginner, aspiring photographer or just looking for the latest features on the market, all in well designed camera bodies.
